- EPK Participation in InnoTrans 2018, the 12th International Exhibition in Berlin, Germany
It was another time for EPK to take part in the biggest international exhibition of transport technology InnoTrans, which took place in September, 18–21, 2018 in Messe Berlin exhibition center in German capital. Representatives of leading companies from all over the world came there to demonstrate their innovative engineering developments for the rail industry. Exhibition participants were invited to conferences, forums, and various business activities devoted to trending topics and innovations of the industry.
The EPK exhibition stand represented the samples of series-produced bearing products for such applications as axle boxes for freights wagons and passenger cars, railway motors, and gearboxes. An innovative solution presented by EPK was the introduction of product marking with data matrix containing the complete bearing information, which meets the latest requirements of the standard for ensuring the traceability of railway junction components. This way EPK is intensively introducing the digitalization method in its own production process.
Participation in international exhibitions always have a positive affect on the expansion of EPK bearing supply geography and sales markets. Financial performance during the last 2 years indicated a significant increase of EPK customer base and international market presence. The application of direct business policy to ultimate bearing consumers, without involving third companies like dealers or distributors, facilitated the significant growth of production volume for export, helped to improve the own product quality and to approve the investment plan for the production capacity increase for further periods.
Within the framework of InnoTrans 2018, EPK representatives had working meetings and negotiations with the managers of leading companies of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, Spain, Italy, and others.
EPK is always open to the dialogue and further cooperation with international partners!
